Course Qualifications & Standards
Here at Surgical Shooters you will find that we do not give out participation trophies for just showing up. You do not get to attend a course with a check in the box and move to the next level. You will earn every step of your training through sweat and perfect repetitions. If we as a community of shooters do not maintain the standard, who will?
On this page you will find our Course Qualifications, our Skills Tests and our Standards. These times, drills and stages of fire are what we believe are the foundation of what it takes to be a skilled and competent firearms user and Surgical Shooter.
Earning the title of a "Surgical Shooter" is not only about maintaining precision accuracy. It is displaying a level of competency, knowledge, experience and tactical mindfulness to make quick decisions and be able to put rounds where they need to go when they need to go there. I am Proud of this brand, and I am proud of those of you who have trusted in the foundation of these principles and way forward. Read through these qualifications and standards...Test yourselves at home... and I look forward to seeing you at the range.
